CONSULTANT Margot Paxman
Margot joined The May Group in 2015. She brings extensive experience in research and analysis to the practice, investigating organisational culture and helping to deliver programs in inclusion and unconscious bias.
Margot is excited to be working to expand organisations’ capacity to better access the talent and potential of all their staff. An important goal for her is to foster change that will benefit other young women for decades to come.
Margot graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons). Her studies encompassed political science, social identity, gender and power. She is a keen writer and traveller, and speaks fluent Spanish.
CONSULTANT Hannah Lawson
Hannah joined the team in early 2016. Her passion for gender equity and social justice was ignited during an Internship at the Mongolian Gender Equality Centre in Ulaanbaatar, working to rescue and rehabilitate women trafficked out of Mongolia. Study in this area formed part of her Bachelor of Asia-Pacific Studies/Arts (Hons).
Prior to joining The May Group, Hannah gained organisational experience working for two years as an analyst at Accenture.
She also has a wealth of life experience gained from living in Japan and the USA as well as her time in Mongolia.
OPERATIONS MANAGER Michelle Hallinan
Michelle has worked with The May Group since 2008 managing the myriad logistics involved in keeping a vibrant consulting practice running smoothly. She is the ‘go to’ person and creates a friendly, fun environment for the team.
Michelle is an artist/printmaker. Her creativity combined with her previous experience as a teacher also has her known as the manager of order and beauty. In addition to all this, she is a medal-winning competitive dragon boater.
MAY GROUP MASCOT Parker
Parker is the oldest member of the team. His primary role now, as he advances in years, is to wander around the office, keep an eye on everyone, and generally look cute.
He also keeps human team members on their toes. He has them all well trained to respond immediately to his wishes to go in and out the office door.
